This show, which celebrates the music and atmosphere of The Blues Brothers, performs to sell-out audiences across the globe.
If you're coming to see the show expect an electrifying night of entertainment with a packed audience dancing to timeless soul and blues numbers such as 'Everybody' and 'Sweet Home Chicago'. During December 2007 the show was altered to fit the festive season and featured brand new musical arrangements by their notorious Black Rhino Band.
Speaking about the show Elwood J. Blues said: “People come to see us because they want to have a real good time and let their hair down in a family friendly atmosphere." Powerhouse singer, Joliet Jake Blues, added: “The show has attracted a huge fan base, and audience members dressing up as Blues Brothers characters is the norm. When we have people turn up in costume it’s a real party atmosphere. At one recent show we had a whole rugby team arrive at the theatre dressed as nuns – I don’t think they stopped dancing all night!”
On 23rd December 2007 the Jake & Elwood show took its first step out of theatres and into arenas when they raised the roof off Birmingham's NIA Academy. The show tours across the UK throughout the year but can be booked through The McLeod Agency either as Jake & Elwood the duo or with the amazing Black Rhino Band comprises a full four piece brass section, lead guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, drums and the fantastic Jet Blues on backing vocals.
